Connect 2 Careers is an event run by students for students. An executive committee of students from numerous Georgian College programs orchestrates the entire event from start to finish. Alumni and faculty further support the committee as a method to ensure continuity as the event evolves from year to year.

Narelle Hesler
Planning Committee

Narelle is a second-year student in Georgian’s Culinary Management program. Food is her biggest passion - as it should be!! Narelle started culinary school in Charlottetown, PEI before transferring to Georgian for her final year of studies. She completed an internship at Rawley Resort in between schools and has 5 years of experience in the hospitality industry. She has also achieved a spot on the Dean’s List every semester. Narelle is a dual citizen of Australia and Canada and loves to split her time between both places whenever she can - moving to Oz for work is definitely in the cards! After graduation, Narelle is planning to attend university to study food science. Her goal is to become a hospitality/food and nutrition teacher at the high school level so she can help kids learn how to cook and be more economical with their food! She is very excited to be involved with the C2C and to meet all of the fantastic employers in our area.
